Totspot – Social Networking for Parents and Babies

This site is in private beta, so you can’t sign up for it just yet, but the idea behind Totspot is to create a private space online for your little bundle of joy and update it as you go with their progress in the first few years – first time crawling, first solid foods etc. You can add photos, videos and even pay a few to have this turned into a book.

As a parent, I have to say there is no logically destination for publishing this sort of content online for sharing with friends and family. Some of my friends use Facebook, but I would prefer something where it is was easier to control who has access, which Totspot offers.

The jury is still out on niche social networks, however, I think this one might have a viable size audience.
