St John NZ CPR iPhone App – most popular app in it’s category

The St John NZ CPR iPhone App that we have developed in partnership with St John is number 1 in the Healthcare & Lifestyle category of the Apple App Store in New Zealand today.
We are pleased that people seem to like the app. We believe everyone should have this on your phone, just in case you need it.
The app has also been featured on TVNZ and Newstalk ZB this week.
The app is free for all iPhone and iPod touch users.
BlackBerry version next? If the NZ market is the same as the US, ignoring BB is equal to ignoring the most common device… it makes sense to develop for all major platforms, not just the most hyped.
Agreed. BlackBerry makes much more sense from a market perspective. From a development and deployment point of view, it is not so easy. You can’t really port an iPhone app to BlackBerry, it is basically a whole new project, more or less. It is in the plans though.
